Coca-Cola has selected rigid packaging provider Ardagh Group to manufacture a special limited edition 25cl aluminium bottle.
Ardagh has produced new aluminium bottles for Coca-Cola at its specialist plant in Beaurepaire, France. Besides offering infinite design opportunities, metal packaging is 100% recyclable and offers protective qualities.
The new aluminium bottles with various designs have been manufactured using Ardagh’s high-definition, high-resolution printing.
Ardagh Group metal division chief commercial officer Woep Möller said: "We have been associated with some memorable limited edition Coca-Cola bottles over the past few years."
Ardagh had initally supplied the first aluminium contour bottle, known as Magnificent 5 (M5), to Coca Cola in 2006.
This comes after Coca-Cola approved the original contour shape, designed by the Root Glass Company of Terre Haute, Indiana, in 1915.
