Austria-headquartered flexible packaging manufacturer Constantia Flexibles has completed the acquisition of Poland-based packaging company Drukpol Flexo.
The companies have not disclosed the other terms of this transaction.
With the addition of Drukpol Flexo to its portfolio, Constantia aims to further strengthen the global presence of both packaging businesses.
The deal will also allow the companies to expand their sustainable product offerings by making more investments to facilitate the growth of the European flexographic printing platform.
Constantia CEO Pim Vervaat said: “With the completion of this acquisition, we are excited to welcome Drukpol Flexo into the Constantia Flexibles family.
“The addition of Drukpol Flexo’s expertise and advanced technologies further strengthens our position as a global leader in flexible packaging.

Known for its printing and converting capabilities, Drukpol mainly specialises in flexographic printing, extrusion lamination and vertical integration.
It currently employs approximately 183 people and has an established reach in the Polish flexible packaging market.
The company provides high-quality packaging solutions for its domestic and global customers in the food and home and personal care sectors.
The successful completion of this deal comes a few months after the Austrian company announced the signing of an initial agreement to acquire Drukpol in March.
The acquisition was pending certain closing conditions and competition clearance.
At the time of the initial signing, Constantia also said that the acquisition of Drukpol would complement its existing sites in Poland, including Constantia Teich in Rogowiec and Constantia ColorCap in Jejkowice.
The Austrian company has also recently announced a joint venture with SB Packagings to expand its footprint in the South Asian and Indian markets.
