Crown Aerosol Packaging North America will combine the company’s graphic design expertise with advanced lithographic printing capabilities in a bid to bolster its customers’ brands.
The company will initially work with customers and provide them with file preparation as well as press plate production services by converting imagery and initial designs into print-ready versions.
Crown will offer brands a portfolio of visual enhancement technologies including six-colour and four-colour printing, different base coats with white or metallic finishes, as well as a selection of UV inks in any colour and conventional and gloss and matte varnish finishes.
Working with brands, Crown’s in-house ink technicians will identify and develop new colours to distinguish products on store shelves by combining inks and creating various shades and colour variations.
By customising and adjusting colours onsite, the challenge of matching virtual mock-ups with the final design printed on aerosol packaging can be met.
Crown Aerosol Packaging North America president Andy Bolton said that the company invites customers to visit its facilities during the first development runs so that they can see for themselves how the final package will look.
