Derprosa, a graphic arts brand owned by Taghleef Industries Group, is planning to increase its production capacity by almost double in order to cater to the market demands.
As part of the expansion, the company will install a new line at its Jaén plant in Alcalá la Real, Spain.
This comes after the company has secured European patent for SoFT TOUcH film on an exclusive and permanent basis from the European Patent Office.
Derprosa will supply SoFT TOUcH film on an exclusive basis to all the brands.
Endowed with total image/colour fidelity and velvety touch, the SoFT TOUcH film allows printing a posteriori without suffering any damage.
According to the company, the scratch-resistant film’s optical properties with finishes do not distort the original colours.
SoFT TOUcH film has the ability to provide a laminate film type applicable both to packaging and to graphic arts as a whole.
This film, when incorporated in a product’s packaging, will boost sales without changing any other element.
As of 2014, Derprosa-Ti employs 150 and 50 people for direct jobs and indirect jobs respectively.
Derprosa currently operates in over 70 countries across the globe. It is specialised in the development, manufacture and commercialisation of Biaxially oriented Polypropylene film (BOOP) for the graphic arts’ sector.
It also provides a wide range of films that are made based on customer requirements to suit each product.
