Detpak, a South Australian packaging solutions company, is expanding its Eco-Products range into South East Asian and Middle Eastern markets.
This move introduces the largest selection of compostable and no-added per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) products by the brand to these regions.
The Eco-Products from the Detpak range were previously available only in Australia and New Zealand.
Detpak product and brand general manager Keith Bishop expects the expansion to complement its existing range of packaging solutions.
Bishop said: “In South East Asia and the Middle East, consumers are becoming increasingly concerned about food waste and used packaging disposal and more conscious of composting and using more products made from recycled content.
“By expanding our product range into new and emerging international markets, we are stepping up to create a more sustainable packaging industry through compostable and plant-based materials that are better for the environment – such as the no-added PFAS Vanguard range.”

Made from renewable, moulded sugarcane fibre, the Vanguard range aligns with the growing demand for environmentally friendly packaging solutions.
The Vanguard range uses a proprietary formulation to achieve grease resistance without the addition of PFAS, offering a sustainable alternative to traditional packaging materials.
Detpak and US-based Eco-Products started their partnership in 2021.
