Malmo, Sweden-based Duni Group, a sustainable dining and food packaging solutions provider, has announced the acquisition of Australian-based reusable coffee cup brand, Huskee.
This move aims to bolster Duni Group’s food packaging division and encourage circular food and beverage habits globally.
It is also intended to expand its market presence, particularly in the Asia-Pacific region.
Based in Australia, Huskee offers coffee and tea cups made of high quality materials that leverages waste and recycled material.
The company offers cup exchange programme and end-of-life recycling programme, to facilitate the delivery of the highest possible impact with minimal footprint.
The acquisition of Huskee comes after Duni subsidiary BioPak Group acquired Decent Packaging, a New Zealand company that produces take-away packaging from plant-based materials, in January this year.
