Engineered equipment and automation solutions provider Duravant has announced the launch of a new packaging operating company, nVenia.
The new entity brings together Duravant’s four equipment brands Arpac, Hamer-Fischbein and Ohlson.
The combination into a single entity will offer benefits such as enhanced quality and service levels and lower lead times to nVenia customers.
nVenia will operate within Duravant’s Packaging Solutions Segment.
Duravant president and CEO Mike Kachmer said: “The union of these four equipment brands reflects a new era, further strengthening Duravant’s leadership position in the North American packaging industry.
“By bringing these brands together under one roof and one name, we are creating next-level packaging equipment, integration and innovation solutions for our customers.”

By GlobalDatanVenia will conduct its operations from a newly built 256,000ft² facility in Wood Dale of Illinois, scheduled to be operational in April.
The company noted that existing production sites will move into the new location all through the year.
nVenia president Thurman Melson said: “nVenia’s new home is a world-class facility with a state-of-the-art Customer Experience Center, outfitted with demonstration, lab and training capabilities designed to welcome customers and guests to engage with the complete nVenia family of packaging brands.”
Arpac, Hamer, Fischbein, and Ohlson will continue to grow as product brands within the offerings of nVenia.
The names of the brands will also be highlighted on nVenia equipment.
