Quebec incorporated company ESKA Natural Spring Water has launched its new 100% recycled plastic (rPET) bottles in retail stores.
The rPET bottles are sourced from Quebec’s Blue Box and other municipal recycling system.
Last year, the company announced that it will move its entire line of non-carbonated, bottled water products to 100% recycled plastic bottles in partnership with Quebec-based Plastrec.
The new bottle is part of the company’s commitment to eliminate first use plastic bottles and help support Canada’s circular economy.
The use of rPET eliminates new virgin plastic production and fives used plastic a new life.
ESKA chief operating officer Michel McArthur said: “At ESKA, the preservation and protection of the environment is a core value.
