Packaging firm Essentra is set to bolster its operations in Newport, UK, which create 70 additional jobs.
The packaging firm operates a facility in Imperial Park on Celtic Way.
The expansion will double the employee count to more than 100 when it acquires a site more than 225,000ft² in area adjacent to the existing facility.
This plan is being supported by a £143,000 grant from the Welsh Government.
The company opened the facility in last November.
According to Essentra, expansion of the facility will enable it to provide ‘an extensive range of customer requirements with state-of-the-art equipment’, reported BBC.
