Spanish glass packaging manufacturer Estal has consolidated its commercial team, expanded its Wild Glass Collection and added new product warehouses for its UK operations.

The Wild Glass collection is one of the company’s major successes in the UK, and consists of bottles made from 100% post-consumer recycled glass.

The bottles are developed with a double-height base and less glass accumulation on the walls, maintaining the same facing with less weight and featuring organic designs and small imperfections.

The Wild Glass collection will be showcased at the annual drinks industry fair, Imbibe Live London 2024.

Estal and the British market maintain a synergetic relationship through the Pentawards, a platform for packaging design. The company has also worked with Avery Dennison and Kurz on the Make a Mark project for British packaging designers.

Estal aims to offer more personalised attention to each of its UK customers and streamline product delivery times.

Estal commercial director Ana del Corral commented on the importance of the company’s establishment in the UK: “This country represents a very important part of our growth strategy, especially regarding glass and closures for distilleries. With the new warehouse, we are better equipped than ever to meet the demands of our traditional customers and arouse the interest of other local businesses.”

Estal reported €68.5m in revenue in 2023, following the launch of its B2B (business-to-business) e-commerce platform in 2022.
