US-based packaging products and services provider FCA will provide its new collapsible utility box (CUB) to non-profit organisation Living Lands and Waters (LL&W).
Suitable for heavy, loose or static loads, the CUB requires no tools, fasteners or clips to set up and take down, and can be set up by one person.

FCA claims that the box has been designed to address the market need for custom collapsible technology. It is helpful in reducing customers’ freight costs, distribution costs, labour costs and system costs.
The CUB is considered to be better packaging for any ship loose parts, custom parts, or other products and applications that require collapsible storage.
LL&W operations manager John Bostrom said that the company is working with the FCA to offer packaging for its various products and applications.
"After taking a look around our shop, I think we have just about a million uses for [FCA’s] product," Bostrom added.
FCA Packaging Engineering Center director Mike Thompson said: "Any ship loose parts, custom parts, or other applications that can benefit from collapsible storage should consider the CUB for both ease of use and the packaging savings that go straight to the bottom line."
FCA supplies a range of custom, heavy duty industrial packaging products and services to original equipment manufacturers globally.
