UK-based Glossop Cartons has taken over the business of Contact Print and Packaging to expand its portfolio and reach within the country.
Financial details about the transaction have not been disclosed.
A subsidiary of Contact Holdings, Contact Print and Packaging prints and generates folding cartons, as well as delivers packaging supply chain solutions to blue-chip organisations.
Glossop will be transferring its operations from its current location in Padfield, Derbyshire, to Contact Print and Packaging’s Stockport centre in Cheshire by the end of this year.
The Stockport site includes three purpose-built production and warehouse units, along with an artwork studio, which is equipped with digital workflow technologies.
Supported with better transport links and larger premises with a superior layout, the new site is expected to help Glossop in utilising its conventional and digital packaging capabilities completely to meet demands in the UK and worldwide.
