Graphic Packaging International (GPI) has created new Christmas packaging for Cadbury’s Mini Rolls, which comes in a cracker design.
The new design represents GPI’s creative food packaging abilities and follows its previous innovations for Premier Foods, including the Halloween ‘broomstick’ and ‘cauldron’ packs.
The pack with 12 wrapped cakes comes as a tablock-end skillet, which enables quick and easy hand packing. It has been designed to have a rectangular push-in cracker style end.
To celebrate the festive cheers, the box features striking Mini Roll brand colours and has a printed bow and tag on top of the pack, with spaces tagged as ‘To’ and ‘From’, and a ‘With Festive Cheer’ strapline.
GPI technical designer Lee Nowak said: "Premier Foods wanted to create a range of quirky, innovative products that would appeal to the consumers’ sense of fun.
"For the Christmas pack, we looked at ways to present the product as a gift and include elements where the pack could be personalised by the customer for this purpose."
