Finnish sustainable packaging provider Huhtamaki has strengthened its presence in North America with an investment in its Paris, Texas, facility.
The company expanded its manufacturing capacity at the facility, while also consolidating its external warehouse.
Huhtamaki said that the warehouse and manufacturing facility will be leased.
It will increase the company’s folding cartons capacity in North America to support the growth of the Foodservice business.
Production at the facility is expected to start in the first quarter of 2025. It is due to employ up to 80 employees within the first three years of operation.
The new site will serve existing and new customers throughout the southern and Midwestern states.
