InterFlex Acquisition, a US-based producer of flexible packaging products, is all set to expand its business activities in Wilkes County, North Carolina.
Under the expansion project, the company is planning to bring 63 new jobs and invest more than $10.2m within the next three years in Wilkesboro.

InterFlex had received a performance-based grant from the One North Carolina Fund of up to $180,000 for the project.
Through local governments the fund will provide financial assistance to attract business projects that will stimulate economic activity and create new jobs in the state.
Other partners that provided assistance to the company’s expansion project include the North Carolina Department of Commerce, the North Carolina Community Colleges, Wilkes Economic Development Corporation, Wilkes County and the town of Wilkesboro.
North Carolina governor Pat McCrory said the government is focusing on expanding partnerships with existing North Carolina businesses including InterFlex.
"Wilkesboro and InterFlex will benefit greatly from this major expansion," McCrory said.
Interflex senior vice-president Jeff Zeber said the company established the North American division headquarters in Wilkesboro as it has a long-term corporate relationship with the town.
"The efforts of the local and state governmental agencies to support the further long-term growth and development of our business were instrumental in our decision to expand our operations in Wilkesboro," Jeff Zeber said.
InterFlex is engaged in offering flexible packaging products to the fresh food, packaged food, confectionary, pet product and industrial product markets.
