Canadian packaging firm IntraPac has announced it is relocating its New Jersey facility to Indiana, US, by February 2012.
The company has already started construction of the new 80,000ft² facility in Lawrenceburg, covering approximately seven acres.
The Indiana Economic Development has granted the company up to $415,000 in tax credits and up to $150,000 in training grants based on job-creation plans.
Based in Toronto, the firm produces bottles, single and double-wall jars, closures, laminate tubes, tin tubes. It also manufactures products with fluoropolymer-coating using PET, polypropylene, low and high density polyethylene, and plastic laminates.
The company serves personal care and pharmaceutical markets and runs seven production facilities in North and Central America, including Virginia, New York and Costa Rica.
