Packaging solutions manufacturer Krones has announced plans to construct a new training and technology centre in Franklin, Wisconsin, US, to enhance it services and facilitate growth.
The company aimed to expand its location in the Franklin Industrial Park after considering other sites throughout the country.
Currently under planning stage, the new 40,000ft² centre is expected to create at least 25 jobs.
Construction is expected to begin in early 2018.
Krones president and CEO Holger Beckmann said: “As an innovation leader in our industry, we consider the new Krones Training and Technology Centre a critical element in our value proposition to customers and employees in North America.

By GlobalDataThe state’s lead economic development agency Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) will award up to $300,000 in performance-based business development tax credits.
The final credit amount will be based on the number of jobs created and the level of capital investment during that time.
WEDC deputy secretary and chief operating officer Tricia Braun said: “With more than 600 employees based at its US headquarters in Franklin, Krones is a major employer in suburban Milwaukee County and we’re thrilled that the company has decided to grow here after looking at options elsewhere.”
