LINPAC (Klöckner Pentaplast) is set to introduce five expanded polystyrene (EPS) solutions for fast food retailers and caterers.
Manufactured in the UK, the new black EPS box solutions in black will be available in multiple shapes and sizes to meet varying requirements of the industry.
LINPAC Foodservice and Convenience sales director Mark Durston said: “The foodservice sector is currently undergoing quite a transformation.
“We have rejuvenated some of our EPS solutions to deliver a premium offering that ticks all the boxes in terms of functionality, sustainability and performance for foodservice packaging, whilst at the same time providing a solution that reflects the market and dining experience it is intended for.”
With the launch of the new products, LINPAC intends to break the misconceptions associated with EPS material, which was recently discredited in the press.
Durston added: “In reality, EPS has extremely strong sustainability credentials and excels in terms of functionality and performance, particularly for hot food packaging.”
