Italian automation firm Marchesini Group will be unveiling a new blister packaging line Integra 520V at China International Pharmaceutical Machinery Exposition and China-Pharm this year.
The launch will offer a compact, integrated and robotic line of products with thermoformer and cartoner sections, which can speed up blister and carton production.
The balcony structured 520V line will be able to produce 520 blisters and up to 500 cartons per minute, each of which will come with its own leaflet.
It is equipped with an advanced pusher unit and drum type carton opening to manage high production speeds and a new leaflet pick and place system.
Thermoforming station of the machine has been placed at its back in order to ensure less space usage.
The line will be using Alu+PVC, PVDC, PET, Alu and other materials for manufacturing blisters, while the cartons produced will have a tucked in or glued flap closure.
The machine can manufacture material in three different ways, either by compressed air for PVC, PVDC and ACLAR, by air and plug assist for difficult-to-shape plastic and by a purely mechanical solution of forming dies for aluminum.
Integra 520 V blister packaging line is ideal for single-blister solutions and is expected to meet demand for higher production speeds across the Chinese market.
