Pro-Pac Packaging has entered an asset sale agreement to acquire PolyPak for NZ$8.8m ($6m).
Pro-Pac will pay the agreed total in three instalments, one NZ$7m ($4.8m) on completion of the acquisition, NZ$1.76m ($1.2m) in December 2018 and NZ$1.76m ($1.2m) in July 2019.
Pro-Pac has also announced an acquisition of Perfection Packaging for A$49.8m ($36.9m), which will be paid part in cash ($29.5m) and part ($7.4m) in the form of shares priced at $0.29 a share.
Based in Australia, Pro-Pac Packaging is a full-service commercial solutions provider, while Perfection Packaging is a privately-owned flexible manufacturer. PolyPak is a manufacturer and distributor based in New Zealand.
Cooper Standard has entered an agreement to acquire Lauren Manufacturing and Lauren Plastics.
The acquisition will enable Cooper Standard to expand the sealing product line of its Industrial and Specialty Group (ISG) in different segments, including building and construction, containers and enclosures and distribution and aftermarket.

Smurfit Kappa Group has acquired Reparenco, a Netherlands-based company engaged in the paper and recycling business.
Worth €460m ($539m), the deal will see the integration of Reparenco and its existing European businesses, which is expected to deliver synergies of more than €30m ($35m).
The acquisition will add 405,000t of recycled containerboard capacity for Smurfit Kappa. The company will also gain access to a 675,000t two-machine paper mill in the Netherlands.
Based in Ireland, Smurfit Kappa is engaged in corrugated packaging.
Reid Canada has acquired Deltapac Packaging and its assets.
Based in Canada, Deltapac Packaging is a plastic bottles manufacturer serving the speciality chemical, cosmetic, food and pharmaceutical industries.
Reid Canada is a subsidiary of Consolidated Container Company (CCC).
The acquisition is expected to help CCC expand its footprint in Canada and offer a variety of products in the chemical, sanitation and food industries.
