Mondi Consumer Packaging has unveiled a new paper packaging solution, which features an adjustable transparent window.
This window paper packaging aims to meet the rising market demands for sustainable packaging, and is laminated with a plastic film.

The plastic film not only improves the resistance of the final packaging, but also acts as a barrier that can help preserve the freshness of food products throughout the supply chain.
Mondi offers the new solution as reel material for form-fill-seal (FFS) applications, pre-made stand-up pouches or paper-based bags, such as SOS or pinch-bottom bags.
Mondi Consumer Goods Packaging innovation head Thomas Groener said: "During lamination, the customised window is lasered into the packaging.
"The shape and design of the window can be adjusted and modified exactly the way our customers envision it, to make the product inside the packaging visible to end-consumers."

Mondi has also announced a modified packaging solution for UK tea producer R Twining & Company.
The revamped packaging makes Twinings to be first tea manufacturer to use pre-made stand-up pouches for tea bags.
These pouches also feature a transparent window made from an EVOH material. The high-barrier laminate comes with high-foil opacity with on-shelf visibility of the product.
Equipped with zippers, the pouches also allow customers ease of usage.
Groener added: "We have become a trusted partner for R Twining & Company and are happy to once again demonstrate our innovative strength and creativity with the new packaging solutions."
