India-based security and continuous stationary printing company Manipal Technologies (MTL) has announced the launch of new packaging company Manipal Utility Packaging Solutions (MUPSPL).
The company has added manufacturing capacities, capabilities, geographic spread as well as a various packaging solutions and technologies.

The new entity will combine the businesses and manufacturing operations of Utility Printpack (UPPL) in Ahmedabad with Manipal’s packaging businesses in Manipal, Chennai, Kenya and Nigeria.
Manipal Technologies managing director Gautham Pai said that packaging solutions is identified as one of the company’s high-growth businesses for the future.
"With MUPSPL, we have built a robust foundation of a global packaging business spanning emerging markets in Asia, Africa and Middle East," Pai added.
UPPL chairman Manoj Mehta said that the new entity will provide a rich resource to its combined customers in India as well as more than 40 countries worldwide.
Manipal Technologies has more than seven decades of print / packaging experience and empowers MUPSPL with technological expertise, operations excellence, product innovation and value-creation for customers in India and worldwide.
