High-technology packaging systems specialist Tech-Long USA is planning to expand its operations in Gwinnett County, Georgia, US, which will create 130 new jobs over a period of ten years.
The $5m expansion at the 25,000ft² facility in the city of Duluth includes manufacturing components and replacement parts for its machinery and possibly manufacturing consumable beverage products.

The facility is said to become the company’s centre of parts and service excellence for the Americas.
It will also have some significant manufacturing operations as the company expands its presence into the liquid packaging markets in Canada, the US, the Caribbean, Mexico and South America.
Tech-Long USA CEO Keith Boss said: "Tech-Long has aggressive growth plans in the Americas and we are constantly releasing new product innovations of interest to the America’s market.
"This expansion reinforces our position as a global leader in the packaging equipment industry. We are looking forward to bringing further investment and new competencies to the local area and to contributing to the economy here in the City of Duluth and Gwinnett County."
