Food packaging manufacturer Novolex has launched new packaging products that are non-fluorinated and grease resistant.
The new products include sandwich wraps, bags for bakery, chip, sandwich and deli, and micro-flute clamshells.
Novolex brands Bagcraft and Burrows Packaging have produced the products.
Both Bagcraft and Burrows are providing the alternative stock versions that are non-fluorinated and grease-resistant for certain select products.
Some of Bagcraft products include Dubl Shield for insulated Sandwich Wrap, EcoCraft Paper Wrap & Liner, EcoCraft Sandwich Bag and more, Dubl View ToGo! Deli Bag, Tin Tie Bakery Bag with Window, and Tin Tie Chip Bag with Window.
Burrows Packaging products include its EcoCraft ToGo! Grease Resistant Clamshells in all sizes.

According to Novolex, EcoCraft ToGo! Grease Resistant Clamshells, Dubl Shield Insulated Sandwich Wrap, EcoCraft Paper Wrap & Liner and EcoCraft Sandwich Bag meet American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) standards for compostability in commercial facilities.
In April this year, Novolex decided to temporarily repurpose its capabilities to produce protective gear for healthcare professionals fighting the spread of Covid-19, coronavirus.
The company is planning to manufacture up to 25,000 face shields and 100,000 medical isolation gowns each week.
