US-based manufacturer of secondary packaging equipment Pearson Packaging Systems has announced the launch of its new case packer.
The fully automated DTL-240 unit is optimised for packing a wide range of flat bagged products into RSC/HSC cases or trays at speeds of up to 240 products a minute, using drop packing technology.
According to the firm, the technology offers a cost-effective alternative to customers who do not require a pick and place top-load case packing system.
Pearson Packaging president and CEO Michael Senske said: “The DTL-240 provides customers a fully automated case packing solution that is fast yet compact and versatile, allowing a wide range of flat bagged products to be loaded on a single production line.”
In September last year, Pearson already unveiled its new compact 50 cases a minute CE50-G Case Erector, which optimises floor space and output with its modern design, incorporating servo motors on all major motions.
The company manufactures secondary packaging equipment for top load case and carton packing, case and tray erecting and sealing, bag insertion, as well as beverage lines.
