US firm PPC Flexible Packaging has completed the first phase of the expansion plan of its Precision Clean cleanroom packaging business.
As part of the expansion, the company has invested more than $2m in facilities and equipment in order to upgrade production capacities for its cleanroom packaging business.
PPC Flexible Packaging was created following the acquisition of Packaging Products (PPC) by Fisher Container Holdings last year.
Precision Clean Packaging’s sales vice-president Brian Ivey said: “We’re excited to announce this expansion, which will allow us to meet growing demand with a wider selection of products.
“These new capabilities will increase our capacity and product offering to PPC’s valued customers and position us well for the underlying growth we are experiencing in our healthcare and critical environment packaging markets.”
Under the plan, the company has expanded production infrastructure for its Class 4 and 7 cleanrooms, and added new pouch-making machines.
