Packaging solutions company Pro Mach has completed the acquisition of EPI Labelers, in an effort to extend its labelling and coding business.
The inclusion of EPI Labelers is intended to complement Pro Mach’s existing capabilities in vertical form, fill, seal (VFFS) packaging equipment.
Pro Mach intends to capitalise on the EPI brand and leverage its current facility located in New Freedom, Pennsylvania, US.
EPI Labelers manufactures labelling products for packaging and promotional requirements, as well as offers solutions for consumer snack food and bakery brands in the US.
For more than 30 years, EPI has been involved in the production of standard and custom labelling solutions, providing a wide range of tamp, blow-on, wipe-on, two-panel, corner wrap, high-speed, and print and apply labelling solutions.
Pro Mach labelling and coding group president Alan Shipman said: "EPI strengthens our product offering in our labelling and coding business along with our existing ID Technology and Greydon brands, and provides our customers with the most comprehensive range of quality labelling and coding solutions."
