RPC Promens Consumer, a unit of RPC Group has supplied the 1l barrier ultra jar to Polish supplier of fruit preserves and additives Prospona.
Prospona used the jar for its Variegato range of pastes for ice creams, cakes and desserts.
Prospona CEO Pawel Chmielowski said: "The 1l Ultra from RPC Promens Kutenholz is the perfect jar for our needs.
"It is excellent for our high-temperature process and a great alternative to glass and cans."
"We want to develop more products based on our experience with RPC in high-temperature processing."
The multilayer PP/EVOH/PP construction of the new ultra jar stores hot filling, in addition to providing protection from oxygen ingress to deliver a prolonged ambient shelf life for the products.

In August, RPC Promens collaborated with German sauce producer Zum Dorfkrug to develop a 1,000ml blow-moulded bottle that looked similar to a milk-bottle and is blow-moulded in polypropylene.
The bottle is available in 250ml and 500ml sizes and complies with the safety requirements of the food service sector.
RPC Promens Consumer manufactures bottles from various polymers, including PE, PP, PET, PETG, PAN and Adflex.
