Thermal packaging solutions provider Packaging Technology Group (PTG) has introduced a sustainable dual temperature pharmaceutical shipper.
The thermal solution enables transport of medications and therapies with different temperature profiles together in the same container.
Usually, some medications would require to be shipped frozen and a few other need to be refrigerated.
With the dual temp shipper, transport of complex immunotherapies becomes easy. These treatments are effective in combating certain cancers and other diseases.
The shipping solution also reduces costs and assembly training.
The new packaging complements the company’s TRUEtemp Naturals Cellulose line of 100% curbside recyclable and repulpable products.

Headquartered in Fall River, Massachusetts, PTG focuses in designing, engineering and manufacturing sustainable, thermal shipping and packaging solutions for the biopharmaceutical and life sciences sector.
Earlier this year, the company announced a new location in Louisville, Kentucky, which is expected to be completed this month.
The new facility will allow PTG to expand its product portfolio and create at least 40 new jobs in the Louisville area.
