Qualvis Print & Packaging has designed a gift box for fairtrade tea company Clipper.
The new pack is expected to optimise the supply chain process due to its flat folding construction, as well as enable Clipper to maintain its on-brand consistency.
Qualvis initially conceived the new pack as a rigid box design but then redesigned it as a lid and block wall base construction that will also extrude a premium look.
Qualvis creative director Richard Pacey said: “We have a fantastic working relationship with Clipper, which is largely built on trust.
“We turn their ideas in reality while ensuring that we adhere strictly to their sustainability messages and stringent ethical brand values.
“The result, in this case, is a great-looking gift box that is both supply chain-efficient and fully recyclable.”

By GlobalDataThe boxes will each hold a selection of six varieties of ten infusion envelopes.
Qualvis has provided a cartonboard insert that would separate every variety in distinct compartments and hold the infusion envelopes securely in place.
The company previously considered providing a vacuum-formed insert in the boxes.
The carton component is developed from a single piece of board with a double-carton thickness that could be packed at high-speed.
It is also designed to minimise odour migration among the different tea varieties within the box set.
The new pack was initially rolled out as a limited period run but Clipper decided to turn it into a regular production due to heavy demand.
