Dog Tag Brewing

US-based Dog Tag Brewing has employed Rexam’s Standard Editions printing technology to produce beer cans that feature the stories of different fallen soldiers on its IPA and lager cans.

The company selected aluminium cans due to their durability, portability and complete protection from light and oxygen to preserve freshness and drink integrity.

Rexam beverage can North America president and CEO Rich Grimley said that the company’s Editions printing process makes it possible for Dog Tag Brewing to achieve its goal of telling the story of individual military personnel who died in the line of duty.

"At the same time, the cans deliver the best in environmental considerations with the highest recycle rate, as well as excellent filling, distribution and retail display economics. It’s the perfect package to help build their brand and business," Grimley added.

Dog Tag Brewing president and founder and US Marine Corps veteran Seth Jordan said that the company wanted to create a product that would convey gratitude to those who have made the ultimate sacrifice and to the families they have left behind.

"We turned to Rexam and they have been fantastic from the beginning. Working closely with them, we were able to utilise their Editions printing technology to bring this idea to fruition. The cans look great and are the perfect vessel for our beer and our message," Jordan added.
