RPC Tedeco-Gizeh UK sales manager Nigel Cannon said: “We have been privileged to supply our range of vending and drinking cups to the NIVO Group.

“Increasingly our customers are benefiting not only from competitive product pricing but also from the total support and after-sales service that RPC provides to the UK market.

“Extending the contract demonstrates our commitment to supporting the group and further building a partnership to move the business forward.”

Established in 1992, RPC Tedeco-Gizeh focuses on manufacturing plastic vending and drinking cups in different colours and sizes.

The company is a member of the Simply Cup collection and recycling scheme and follows energy-efficient manufacturing process in order to reduce the carbon impact of transportation and encourage recyclability.

“RPC Tedeco-Gizeh will continue to produce plastic vending cups in multiple sizes for the members of the NIVO group.”

It owns a manufacturing facility in Kenfig, South Wales, and produces more than three billion units of plastic cups and capsules annually.

In a separate development, RPC Bebo Bouxwiller has refurbished the packaging of French cheese producer Les Fruitières du Vallon de Sancey’s product portfolio.

The new lightweight easy-to-handle 250ml tubs are microwave-friendly and are said to provide better consumer convenience.

They also exhibit the company’s logo distinctly to provide better shelf appeal and are offered in different colours to enable the customers to distinguish between five varieties of cheese.
