Sabert, a sustainable food packaging solutions manufacturer, has introduced its new line of recyclable bowls and containers, Earthtel r-PRO.

This new fully recyclable collection, featuring the company’s proprietary polypropylene (PP) blend with 25% post-consumer recycled content, adheres to the recyclability guidelines of the Association of Plastic Recyclers (APR).

The Earthtel r-PRO line is designed to offer foodservice operators a sustainable packaging option that does not compromise on design or functionality.

The products boast a modern stone colour and sleek design, suitable for both cool and warm-toned foods.

The containers are equipped with a secure stacking feature for safe transit and ventilation, facilitated by C-vents and channels on the lids.

In addition, the Earthtel r-PRO line is microwaveable and heat lamp-safe and can withstand temperatures up to 220°F.

The reusable containers are available in various sizes ranging from 18oz to 32oz.

Sabert marketing and new product development vice-president Stephny Halstead said: “Sabert’s Earthtel r-PRO is the latest addition to our expansive portfolio of innovative sustainable packaging solutions that doesn’t sacrifice performance or aesthetics.

“From using a new, proprietary recycled content polypropylene blend to designing for full recyclability at end-of-life, the Earthtel r-PRO line exemplifies our commitment to minimising environmental impact without comprising quality or functionality.”

Sabert sources its PP r-PRO material from its Nuvida recycling facility in New Jersey, US.

The company is also a member of the Polypropylene Recycling Coalition.
