Packaging company Saica Pack has launched a new Fresh Pack maintenance facility on the King Street Industrial Estate in Peterborough, UK.
With an own dedicated Fresh Pack Service engineering team, the facility will enable the company to deliver efficient service to its customers.
Besides attending to machine maintenance, the company’s fresh pack service engineering team will also visit site to service equipment, as well as perform preventative maintenance.
Saica Fresh Pack high-quality corrugated cardboard boxes are designed to endure extreme climate and transport conditions. It can be utilised for packaging fresh fruits and vegetables.

Saica will supply machines to its client’s customers, enabling them to develop their own corrugated fresh produce boxes.
Headquartered in Spain, Saica manufactures recycled paper for corrugated board, with a production of 3.2 million tonnes of paper.
In July this year, Saica Paper division expanded the basis weights of Nature Kraft from 115g/m2 to 245g/m2.
The 100% recycled paper, Nature Kraft, is an alternative to traditional kraftliners.
The same month, Saica Group announced the establishment of its first North American facility near Cincinnati, Ohio.
