Diversified paper and packaging products producer and supplier Sappi has launched new textured release paper line.
Ultracast Viva is designed for high-fidelity polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polyurethane (PU), semi-PU and solvent-free casting systems.
This product reflects the company’s sustainability practices and is in line with its environmentally friendly manufacturing goals worldwide.
Ultracast Viva helps enhance performance especially related to reduced curl.
According to the company, it has the ability to offer “increased reusability and easier handling with expanded temperature limits”.
Sappi casting and release strategy director Mark Hittie said: “Sappi is wholeheartedly committed to sustainability, so the launch of Ultracast Viva is a natural next step as we pursue ways to improve environmentally sustainable manufacturing through innovation.
