The Singapore Food Agency (SFA) has directed Green Olive Group to recall its Bestore RTE Mini Bread Prepacked (330g) over labelling issue. 

This move comes after the agency detected the presence of milk in the RTE Mini Bread, which was not declared on the label of its food packaging.

Bestore products are available in over 15 countries and sold in more than 200 supermarkets. 

This incident comes after a similar case last month when SFA directed Smoof to recall its Acai Sorbet Pure, imported from Brazil, due to the same issue of undeclared milk allergen on the packaging label. 

Set up in April 2019, the SFA works as a statutory board under the Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment (MSE).  

It is responsible for managing food safety and security across Singapore as the national food authority.
