Smurfit Kappa has equipped its Alcalá plant in Madrid, Spain, with a Jetmaster-inkjet single-pass digital printer, in a move to help customers to increase sales.
The Jetmaster-inkjet single-pass digital printer is claimed to allow immediate changes in print, while reducing the risk of obsolete stock.

This technology is capable of printing on any type of substrate and the company offers a team of Smurfit Kappa experts to support customers for converting images for digital printing.
With this printer, any customer, regardless of size, will have access to digital print, which will in turn add value to marketing campaigns, as well as reduce time to market for brands.
Smurfit Kappa Spain & Portugal innovation and design manager Jesus Rivas said: "We can now reduce the time to market of new product launches and customise orders to influence shoppers at the point of purchase.
