Diversified packaging company Sonoco’s Protective Solutions division has launched two new lightweight recyclable packaging, EnviroSense FiberMax Bulk Box and EnviroSense FiberMax Master Roll.
Designed for heavy and high-value products, the new paper-based packaging options have been added to its EnviroSense line of sustainable packaging.

By GlobalDataFiberMax Bulk Box packaging is designed to help the firm to increase transportation efficiency, lower storage space, and enhance stacking strength.
EnviroSense FiberMax Master Roll packaging is designed for manufacturers dealing with heavy, high-value materials in roll form, such as films, foils and laminates. It helps avoid damage, improve storage consumption and simplify recycling.
In addition, FiberMax Bulk Box costs about half of almost similarly sized wooden crates, while FiberMax Master Roll packaging can cost as much as 25% lesser compared to wooden crate alternatives.

Earlier this month, Sonoco’s Alloyd Division launched a new, roll-feed, cut and seal machine for medical packaging applications.
