The straws will be available at the fast-casual café concept starting 11 November 2020.

The edible flavoured and 100% biodegradable straw is capable of staying rigid for up to 40 minutes in cold and frozen beverages. Each straw is packaged individually.

SORBOS is the first company to produce such straws that serve as an alternative to single use plastic.

SORBOS produces and packed its straws in Barcelona Spain by SORBO.

The company offers a fully biodegradable, sustainable, edible solution to single-use plastic straws. In September this year, Ribena trialled 100% recyclable paper straws on their cartons, in Tesco stores only to reduce plastic usage.
