Germany-based Storopack has launched an improved FOAMplus Bagpacker, which features new foam padding system for protecting sensitive goods during shipping.
Introduced as the FOAMplus Bagpacker², the new protective packaging equipment has been designed to suit three different film sizes: 47cm, 45/15cm and 60/15cm.
The improved version offers ease of usage and is equipped with a modern electric drive, unlike the previous model that featured hydraulics unit. This sealing unit ensures better quality of bag closing and makes sure that foam and product stay separated
Bagpacker² is manufactured with use of the Foam-in-Bag system, in which a machine developed by Storopack fills the bag with foam.
The foam forms a pad around the packaged goods thus ensuring their protection from any damage during shipping.
The new unit features barcodes and programmable bag sequences to ensure reliability of the process and has the capacity to produce up to 23 foam padding bags a minute.
