Germany-based packaging films manufacturer SÜDPACK has announced acquiring additional shares of CARBOLIQ with effect from yesterday (2 January 2024).
In March 2022, SÜDPACK and Clean Cycle signed an agreement for long-term investment in CARBOLIQ.
By increasing its investment in CARBOLIQ, SÜDPACK is taking a significant step towards enhancing its circular economy initiatives primarily in the flexible packaging industry.
SÜDPACK has appointed Dirk Hardow as the new managing director of CARBOLIQ.
Hardow is also SÜDPACK’s Functional Films and Compounds Business Unit manager and is responsible for the development and implementation of closed-loop models.
SÜDPACK CEO Erik Bouts said: “This is the logical next step. We regard CARBOLIQ technology as an indispensable building block in our industry’s process of transformation towards a circular economy.”
