US-based Tango Press has launched its new digital production facility for manufacturing corrugated packaging and displays in Springdale, Arkansas.
The $2m facility is spread across 15,000ft²of area and is designed to produce litho-quality printing for displays and packaging in days instead of weeks.
Equipped with the latest digital printing assets, the company aims to create a new precedent for turnaround time on digital printing for packing and displays for brand owners and traditional converters.
The facility helps eliminate about six to eight weeks of waiting for tooling, colour separations and production schedules.
The streamlined production facility will produce each of its order on paper-based substrates from 8mm to 25mm in calibre, in full colour with litho-quality high-end graphics.
Tango Press co-founder John Ballentine said: “After spending my career fighting for brand owners’ needs for flexible production run sizes, waiting for openings in analogue production schedules, and investing sunk costs in tooling, the digital production process is a dream come true.
