Thai fast-moving consumer goods manufacturer the TCP Group, grocery retailer Big C, vending machine specialist Durbell and state-owned bank the Krungthai Group have collaborated on the “Get Free Drinks All Year Long, Let’s Recycle Forever” campaign.
The campaign encourages Thai consumers to separate empty beverage packaging from TCP Group for recycling to win rewards such as gold, a year of free beverages and prizes worth more than 170,000 baht ($4696).
The packaging drop-off points are located at 15 Big C branches in the Thai capital, Bangkok and stores in other provinces.
Consumers must take photos or video clips while depositing the packaging and post them in the comments under a “Drink-Separate-Get Reward” activity post, with each post equalling one prize entry.
The activity will be held over three rounds. The first will be on 31 July 2024, the second round is scheduled for 1 to 31 August, and the final round will be 1 to 30 September.
The campaign is part of the “TCP WEnergy for the World” corporate initiative and highlights the group’s sustainability goals of developing 100% recyclable beverage packaging.
