Packaging machinery manufacturer Theegarten-Pactec has developed a new modular concept for packing chocolate products.
The new design-optimised CWM2 packaging machine has an infeed belt with a separate servo motor to enable easier speed adjustment after format changes. This allows packaging materials to be cut at different lengths for inner and outer wrappers.
The machine can produce a wide range of wrapping styles such as double twist, top twist, side twist, top clip and bunch wrap, as its modular construction simplifies the changeover between wrapping styles and formats.
With a capacity to process all conventional wrapping foils, CWM2 can wrap up to 500 chocolate products a minute.
Theegarten-Pactec’s CWM2 is also equipped with a touchscreen for simplified operation, error diagnosis and data collection.
This is capable of providing several functions, which include no product – no packaging function, automatic changing of wrapping material reels, remote diagnostics and automatic ejection of double-wrapped products.
