Food packaging solution supplier tna has completed acquiring labeling equipment manufacturer Unique Solutions in order to expand its business portfolio.
Financial details about the transaction has, however, not been disclosed.
The deal offers tna access to Unique Solutions’ In-Pak and On-Pak programmes, which is based on the firm’s continuous perforated bandolier (CPB) technology.
The acquisition is in line with tna’s strategy to expand its offerings in order to serve food manufacturers with a full range of packaging and processing solutions from a single source.
tna CEO Alf Taylor said: “The food industry changes at such a rapid pace, and product innovation is an absolute must if you want to stay competitive.
“We were therefore keen to expand our services in the promotional and value-add packaging arena. These solutions can add immense value to manufacturers, from eye-catching labels and coupons to seasoning sachets and toys, the possibilities are limitless.”
