Rigid packaging manufacturer TricorBraun has entered an agreement to acquire US-based company The Packaging Design Group (PDG).
Under the terms of the agreement, PDG will be assimilated as another division of TricorBraun with access to all its resources.
The contract also covers the acquisition of PDG’s UK-based wholly owned subsidiary Packaging Design.
The Packaging Design Group founding partner Kenneth Gillman: "TricorBraun has an excellent reputation, like us, for being very focused on serving our customers.
"Being part of a like-minded organisation the size of TricorBraun will present opportunities and advantages for our current customers."
After the acquisition, the company will continue to operate under its current name.

TricorBraun offers packaging options, including bag-in-box packaging, digital labels, drykeep desiccant materials and sprayers, as well as SprayGuard packaging for spray-on products.
The company primarily focuses on packaging for personal care products, cosmetics, healthcare products, food and beverages, and industrial and household chemicals.
