Indian flexible packaging and solutions company UFlex has teamed up with the Indian Institute of Packaging (IIP) in Delhi to enhance recycling awareness, advocate for a circular economy, and drive sustainable packaging innovations.
The collaboration has led to the establishment of the Ideation Zone at IIP Delhi’s campus.
This interactive space, inaugurated by UFlex sustainability director Jeevaraj Pillai, is designed to educate professionals, students, and the general public on the importance of a circular economy.
Recycled materials such as multilayer plastic and aseptic packaging waste have been used in the construction of the Ideation Zone itself, showcasing the practical application of these principles.
Currently, UFlex recycles plastic waste at its facilities in Poland, Mexico, and India.
The partnership will also see UFlex engaging industry leaders and sustainability experts in a series of workshops and seminars at IIP Delhi.
