Disposable manufacturer Herald Plastic has developed a customised version of its existing edible straw, which was launched more than a year ago.
The newly created version can be printed on down one side to enable businesses to brand images supporting their own marketing strategies.
They are currently available in lemon, lime, strawberry, cinnamon, ginger, apple and chocolate flavours.
A number of businesses engaged in various fields, including club, bar, venue and events managers, as well as caterers and food to go suppliers, can order the printable straws.
Herald’s existing range of edible straws can also help solve the issue of marine litter caused by plastic straws.
Herald Plastic managing director Yogesh Patel said: “This pioneering product has proven to be the gift that keeps on giving as it is on trend, given the media storm surrounding plastic straws, and can now also be tailored to help promote the buyer’s brand and business.
