UK-based Antalis Packaging has entered a strategic partnership with Johnson Reed to launch a new leasing service for automated packaging systems.

Under the new Antalis Commercial Finance service, systems including pallet stretch wrappers and carton erecting machines will be flexibly leased to customers.

The flexible finance options will allow users to divide the cost of the purchase across regular fixed repayments, which are agreed in advance, and to repay over a period of three to five years.

Antalis Commercial Finance has also been designed to offer a simple way of selecting the right equipment for the packaging needs of customers.

"Through our partnership with Johnson Reed, we can help customers access the best packaging technology that is available in today’s market."

Antalis Packaging, packaging product manager Scott Tuckey said: “Through our partnership with Johnson Reed, we can help customers access the best packaging technology that is available in today’s market.

“By spreading the cost, there’s no need to compromise on quality or be restricted by budget.

“Customers can get immediate use of state-of-the-art packaging equipment and start seeing substantial efficiencies within their operations.”

The company also noted that customers who will lease its products will be able to receive a full tax benefit.

Employing 5,800 people, Antalis currently serves more than 123,000 clients, companies and printers, in 43 countries through its 107 distribution centres.

The company also carries out 14,000 deliveries each day and distributes 1.7 million tonnes of paper per year worldwide.
