Infection prevention company UMF|PerfectCLEAN has announced the launch of new, fully compostable packaging for its PerfectCLEAN product portfolio, as part of its sustainability efforts.
The compostable packaging is currently in use for certain PerfectCLEAN products, with the company intending to extend its usage to the entire range of PerfectCLEAN products by early next year.
The new packaging supports the company’s mission to offer environmentally conscious and cost-effective hygiene solutions with reduced effort, waste, and carbon footprint when compared with traditional cleaning products and methods.
Made from corn, the sustainable packaging is claimed to complement the company’s lineup of ‘high-performance’ PerfectCLEAN products, including Klorese, which is an ‘effectively human’ Environmental Protection Agency-registered wide-spectrum disinfectant.
UMF|PerfectCLEAN CEO George Clarke said: “UMF|PerfectCLEAN was founded on a commitment to help our clients attain the highest standards of infection prevention across all markets as sustainably and cost-effectively as possible.
“We are committed to protecting the environment and future generations from needless waste. This innovative, compostable packaging is in complete alignment with those goals.
